Our cozy Indian restaurant Rangoli, located on the vibrant Haarlemmerstraat in the heart of Amsterdam, is looking for an Independent Working Chef (Zelfstandig Werkend Kok I). In our dynamic kitchen, there is always something happening—no two days are the same, and you’ll be working right in the lively city center. Position & Responsibilities

As an Independent Working Chef, you are responsible for independently carrying out kitchen tasks and actively contributing to the quality of our dishes.

Your responsibilities include:

• Independently preparing ingredients (mise en place)

• Applying fundamental cooking techniques

• Contributing ideas and input regarding menu composition, menu updates, and working methods

• Managing inventory and placing orders

• Professionally guiding and supervising kitchen assistants

Wat breng jij als Independent Cook I - Rangoli Amsterdam

• MBO level 3 working and thinking level (or equivalent)

• Demonstrable knowledge of basic cooking techniques

• Independent, responsible, and able to perform well under pressure

• A team player with an eye for quality and hygiene

• Competitive salary: €2,750 – €3,250 gross per month (depending on experience and skills)
