As a welder in Herveld, you will work with MIG, MAG and TIG welding on steel structures that are different every time. This is not repetitive production work. It is true custom work: welding to a precision of 2 mm, creating custom steel windows and doors that end up in unique architectural projects around the world.

Welding is only part of the job. Afterwards, you polish and grind each weld until the joint completely disappears: invisible, smooth and clean. You also assemble the parts yourself. So you will need not only strong welding skills, but also an eye for the finished result.

Because of the custom nature of the work, experience as a welder is essential. To be considered for this position, we expect the following:

• At least 1 year of experience with MIG/MAG/TIG welding; relevant certificates are a plus
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Ability to work independently and with precisio

Your educational background is less important to us. Whether you trained as a metalworker, structural metal worker or welder, if you have the right skills, we would love to receive your application.
