Job Title: Technical Information Analyst

Amsterdam, Netherlands | ⏳ Contract: 6 Months | Start: ASAP

We are seeking a skilled Technical Information Analyst to join our team in Amsterdam. This role is perfect for someone who can bridge the gap between business and IT, translating complex requirements into effective technical solutions.

Role Overview

As a Technical Information Analyst, you will work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into clear technical specifications. You will play a key role in designing system integrations, APIs, and business rule processes while supporting the full software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with business stakeholders and IT specialists to gather and document requirements

• Translate business needs into technical specifications and user stories

• Map and model processes, data flows, and system interactions

• Design, develop, and maintain SOAP services and RESTful APIs

• Support the evolution of Business Rule Engines, Admin Tools, and APIs

• Collaborate with developers, analysts, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners

• Validate requirements and resolve ambiguities or conflicts

• Create flow diagrams, sequence diagrams, and information models

✅ Required Skills & Experience

• 6–8 years of experience as an Information Analyst / Business Analyst in a software environment

• Strong understanding of IT landscapes and system integration

• Hands-on experience with REST APIs and SOAP services

• Experience with process modeling and visual modeling tools

• Knowledge of SQL / PostgreSQL

• Ability to create:

  • Flow diagrams

  • Request/response models

  • Sequence diagrams

  • Information models

Nice to Have

• Experience with Enterprise Architect

• Experience with Drools (Business Rule Management System)

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
