Team Lead Automation

• As the Team Lead Automation, you'll oversee the automation engineering aspect of our projects. • From the initial proposal phase through project execution, you'll establish robust work breakdown structures and lead a team of (Senior) Automation Engineers to ensure timely delivery and quality output. • Reporting to the Project Manager Engineering, you'll play a crucial role in project success. • Lead a small to mid-sized Electrical & Automation engineering team. • Coach the team to adhere to internal standards. • Develop work breakdown structures and allocate resources effectively. • Ensure timely delivery of quality engineering work. • Manage vendors and subcontractors. • Conduct design checks and reviews. • Analyze technical offers in collaboration with the Purchase department. • Monitor and control project budgets. • Coordinate technical support and commissioning activities. • Ensure compliance with class and customer specifications.

• Minimum five years of experience in designing electrical & automation systems in shipbuilding, offshore, or industrial installations. • Experience in large project environments with high complexity. • Leadership experience with engineering teams. • Bachelor or Master’s degree in relevant technical discipline. • Project Management skills. • Familiarity with class-regulated products and Good Engineering Practices. • Excellent English language skills, German proficiency is advantageous. • Permanent EU citizenship required.
