Our client is a fast-growing international company that develops, manufactures and distributes high-quality air filters. The company specializes in air purification solutions for a wide range of sectors, including commercial buildings, hospitals, data centers, and airports, using advanced filtration systems that remove harmful particles from the air. They are headquartered in Alkmaar and operate through an international distribution network. Productionfacilities are located in China and Poland, with orderfulfilment locations in Alkmaar, Poland and Finland. For them, we are looking for a Sustainability, Compliance & Quality Lead — a new role within the organization.
FUNCTIEOMSCHRIJVING
As Sustainability, Compliance & Quality Lead, a new role within the organization, you drive actively company’s Sustainability (EcoVadis, EPD, CSR), HSE, Compliance, and Quality agenda across Europe within a manufacturing and order fulfilment environment, working closely with other departments as Sales, Operations, Warehousing, R&D and Human Resources. This role combines framework development with a hands-on implementation on the shop floor and in fulfilment processes, ensuring practical, consistent and audit-ready ways of working that meet customer and CSR expectations.
What will you do:
Sustainability Leadership (Primary Focus)
• Implement and maintain a practical, audit-ready sustainability approach (policies, work instructions, evidence in daily operations)
• For example: Drive the EcoVadis roadmap toward Gold/Platinum with concrete actions in manufacturing and order fulfilment
• Guide EPD processes, including data collection from production and fulfilment activities
• Work hands-on with Operations, Supply Chain, and R&D to embed sustainability into daily processes
• Ensure sustainability efforts are aligned with customer requirements and Corporate Social Responsibility commitmentsGovernance, Risk & Compliance (Operational Focus, including HSE)
• Define and implement a clear, practical compliance (including HSE) framework embedded in manufacturing and order fulfilment processes across the Netherlands, Poland and Finland
• Facilitate to translate requirements into concrete procedures, shop floor instructions, and controls
• Facilitate to ensure documentation, traceability, and audit readiness through daily operational routines
• Monitor adherence and drive corrective actions directly with teams on site
• Act as the central coordination point for compliance topics related to operations and customer requirements (and Human Resources).Quality Framework & Alignment (Manufacturing & Fulfilment Focus)
• Define and implement end-to-end quality principles across manufacturing and order fulfilment processes
• Align ways of working, standards, and responsibilities across Netherlands, Poland and Finland within one practical quality framework
• Ensure consistency in execution, including production quality, order accuracy, and customer-specific requirements
• Establish clear ownership, escalation paths, and performance follow-up within operations
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives directly on the shop floor and in fulfilment processes
FUNCTIE EISEN
• HBO+ or Master degree
• 5 to 12+ years of experience in Quality, HSE, Compliance and Sustainability within a manufacturing or orderfulfilment environment
• Experience with EcoVadis, EPD or similar CSR/ESG frameworks is preferred
• Proven ability to build and implement practical frameworks and translate them into daily operations
• Strong hands-on experience in production and warehouse processes; comfortable working on the shop floor
• Strong stakeholder management skills, aligning teams across functions and countries
• Structured and pragmatic; able to turn requirements into clear, workable solutions
• Continuous improvement mindset: actively identifying and implementing improvements
• Fluent in English
• Willingness to travel internationally occasionally

• Salary between € 4600,- and € 6200,- gross per month, depending on your experience and expertise,
