Company / Mission Description• Join a major European player in the energy transition, contributing to a sustainable, reliable, and future-proof electricity infrastructure • Work within an international environment focused on green innovation and technological modernization • Collaborate with internal teams and external experts to strengthen and optimize critical energy systems that support economic growth and environmental sustainability • The organization is seeking a Solution Architect with strong expertise in SAP technologies to support ongoing digital transformation initiatives across multiple European business units • The mission focuses on optimizing IT infrastructure and modernizing the application landscape, ensuring that technology effectively supports business goals • Ideal candidates have a proven ability to design, adapt, and implement technical solutions that address complex business challenges while maintaining architectural consistency and strategic alignmentService DescriptionAs part of the Digital Division within the IT Architecture department, the Solution Architect (SAP) will:• Act as an expert in SAP architecture, defining and managing the organization’s SAP landscape in line with key business transformations • Design and maintain a comprehensive architectural blueprint to achieve complex business objectives • Provide daily support to the OneSAP+ product clusters, ensuring solutions are feasible and aligned with overall architecture principles • Document the current and target SAP landscape in a consistent and structured way, collaborating closely with Business, Domain, and Solution Architects • Advise other architecture disciplines by assessing the suitability of SAP for specific business or technical requirements (architecture trade-offs) • Analyze functional and non-functional requirements, adopting constraints and translating them into practical architectural solutions • Decompose complex business capabilities into Solution Building Blocks, using reference architectures, recommended styles, and design patterns • Act as the key link between stakeholders, including product teams, architecture boards, and delivery units • Deliver architecture designs and documentation that comply with organizational standards and governance guidelines • Contribute to integration and application architecture design, leveraging available tools and technologies • Participate in design governance structures and decision-making processes (Design Boards, ADR, ATAM, etc.)

Profile Requirements• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience as a Solution Architect, preferably in complex enterprise environments • Proven ability to design resilient, scalable, and future-ready solutions integrating both SAP and non-SAP systems • Act as a bridge between business, platform, and product teams, supporting digital transformation initiatives based on SAP S/4HANA • Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes across multiple SAP modules and integration streams • Skilled in documenting and maintaining architecture blueprints, including business, application, and data layers, as well as integration flows and artefacts • Deep expertise in core SAP modules and SAP integration technologies, including protocols and integration styles (process-, data-, and event-driven integration) • Foundational knowledge of enterprise architecture standards such as ArchiMate, TOGAF, ATAM, and CBAM • Familiarity with architecture modelling languages (e.g., ArchiMate); experience with Sparx Enterprise Architect is a significant advantage • At least 6 years of experience with two or more SAP technologies, including:- SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) and its service portfolio - Migration projects from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA - Understanding of SAP Line-of-Business (LoB) solutions and their effective use within enterprise architectures - Working knowledge of SAP development frameworks and technologies (not for coding, but for architectural decision-making)• SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Enterprise Architect, SAP BTP Solution Architect) are a strong asset • Demonstrates a continuous learning mindset, sharing expertise, embracing change, and encouraging open discussion (e.g., through whiteboarding sessions) • Capable of working autonomously, taking initiative, and engaging with stakeholders at all organizational levels • Result-oriented, proactive, and structured in delivery • Strong Agile mindset; hands-on experience in Agile environments is a plus • Collaborative team player, open to feedback and committed to shared successLanguage Skills• Fluent in English (both written and spoken) — essential for documentation, meetings, and communication with international stakeholders • Knowledge of French, Dutch, and German is considered an asset, with German proficiency particularly valued • Ability to communicate fluently in English and at least one additional national language (French or Dutch)
