Senior Design Engineer

- Independently design and develop mechanical constructions and machines from concept to realization
- Ensure designs meet requirements regarding quality, cost, manufacturability, safety, and lead time
- Contribute to the development and improvement of functional specifications
- Perform and verify technical calculations and engineering drawings
- Support the build and realization of products and machine components
- Create technical documentation and work instructions
- Plan engineering activities and monitor project progress
- Guide, support, and technically coach team members
- Identify deviations in projects and initiate improvements
- Actively contribute to and promote the organization’s core values and way of working
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Several years of experience as a (Senior) Design Engineer in machine building or industrial environments
- Experience in independently designing and developing mechanical constructions
- Strong knowledge of technical calculations, manufacturability, and production processes
- Experience with reviewing technical drawings and documentation
- Good communication skills in Dutch and/or English
- Experience in coaching and guiding engineers
- Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility
- A competitive salary between €4,200 and €5,300 gross per month, depending on experience
