Step into the Reservations Agent role at Moxy & Residence Inn Houthavens Amsterdam, part of Marriott Hotels & Resorts. You´re the friendly first voice our guests hear, the one who makes booking a stay smooth and stress-free.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Handle all incoming reservations via phone, email, and online channels in line with Marriott standards.
• Process individual, corporate, and group bookings, ensuring accuracy of details and payment methods.
• Respond to guest inquiries, upsell rooms and packages, and promote hotel services to maximize revenue.
• Collaborate with Sales & Revenue to monitor availability, rates, and special offers.
• Ensure accurate entry and management of reservations in the PMS and distribution systems.
• Communicate effectively with Front Office, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure smooth arrivals and stays.
• Handle reservation modifications, cancellations, and special requests in a professional and timely manner.
• Assist with daily reports, forecasting, and revenue tracking when required.

WHAT WE ASK OF YOU:

• Previous experience in Reservations or Front Office is preferred
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English, Dutch and other languages are an advantage.
• Knowledge of Opera PMS and Marriott systems is highly desirable.
• Customer-focused with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
• Problem solving ability and stress resistance.
