R&D Perception/Software Engineer Autonomous Driving

- Develop perception software in C++ and Python for Level-4 autonomous driving systems
- Process and fuse data from radar, LiDAR, and camera sensors
- Apply machine learning for object detection, tracking, and classification
- Work with algorithms such as Kalman filters, SLAM, and ICP
- Write and maintain high-quality production-level code with testing and documentation
- Integrate software into test vehicles, HIL setups, and customer applications
- Collaborate within an agile team environment and follow automotive software standards (ISO 26262, ASPICE)
- MSc or BSc in Robotics, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or similar
- 3+ years (Medior) or 5+ years (Senior) experience in perception or software engineering
- Proficient in C++, Python, TensorFlow and/or PyTorch
- Familiar with 3D/4D radar, LiDAR, camera processing, and sensor fusion
- Solid knowledge of Bayesian filtering, SLAM, linear algebra, and geometry
- Experience with ROS, Git, CMake, CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins), and Agile or V-model workflows
- Knowledge of deep learning (e.g., CNNs, Transformers) is a plus
- Work on cutting-edge autonomous vehicle technology
- Start via Trinamics, with a permanent contract at the client after the initial period
- Salary range between €4000 and €6000 based on experience
- 25 vacation days + 8.33% holiday allowance
