Take responsibility for the quality and technical performance of suppliers and their n-tier supply chain
Monitor and improve supplier performance, from incident management to structural improvements
Develop and execute Supplier Improvement Plans (SIP)
Implement improvement programs such as Lean, SPC, FMEA, and operational excellence at suppliers
Optimize manufacturing processes, quality control, and testing procedures
Collaborate with procurement and internal stakeholders on a company-wide quality strategy
Act as a technical expert and sparring partner for internal teams and suppliers
Lead and develop a team of Supplier Quality Engineers
Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain and production processes

A Bachelor’s degree (HBO level) in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or similar
At least 7 years of relevant experience in supplier quality, manufacturing, or supply chain engineering
Experience in a high-tech production environment with complex assembly processes
Proven experience in supplier development, quality improvement, and process optimization
Knowledge of methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, and operational excellence
Experience in leading a team or a strong ambition to step into a leadership role
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
A proactive, results-driven mindset with the ability to switch between detail and strategy
Fluent in English

A salary between €6.000 and €7.000 gross per month, depending on experience and seniority
