Quality Engineer

- Take responsibility for the quality and technical performance of suppliers and their n-tier supply chain
- Monitor and improve supplier performance, from incident management to structural improvements
- Develop and execute Supplier Improvement Plans (SIP)
- Implement improvement programs such as Lean, SPC, FMEA, and operational excellence at suppliers
- Optimize manufacturing processes, quality control, and testing procedures
- Collaborate with procurement and internal stakeholders on a company-wide quality strategy
- Act as a technical expert and sparring partner for internal teams and suppliers
- Lead and develop a team of Supplier Quality Engineers
- Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain and production processes
- A Bachelor’s degree (HBO level) in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or similar
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in supplier quality, manufacturing, or supply chain engineering
- Experience in a high-tech production environment with complex assembly processes
- Proven experience in supplier development, quality improvement, and process optimization
- Knowledge of methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, and operational excellence
- Experience in leading a team or a strong ambition to step into a leadership role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- A proactive, results-driven mindset with the ability to switch between detail and strategy
- Fluent in English
- A salary between €6.000 and €7.000 gross per month, depending on experience and seniority
