Job Description

• Setting up the saw to cut aluminum profiles to size.
• Operating machines to straighten the profiles.
• Checking profiles for straightness, dimensions, and damage.
• Installing dies and working closely with the press operator.

Working hours as an Operator:
Start in a 2-shift system (06:30–15:00 and 14:30–23:30), then move to a 3-shift system (07:00–15:00, 15:00–23:00, 23:00–07:00).
Traveling by public transport? We'll work together to find a suitable solution. Schedules are announced well in advance, and swapping shifts is possible.


Job Requirements

• You speak Dutch or English.
• You have a technical education or experience as an operator.
• Forklift, reach truck, Safe Lifting, and VCA certificates are a plus (or you're willing to obtain them).

You'll work in a production environment where machines can be a bit loud. You're also comfortable working in a factory where the climate may vary.

Salary and Benefits
Operator at Nedal – Work with aluminum and help build trains, bicycles, and more! At Nedal Aluminium in Utrecht, you'll work in the Extrusion department. Here, we heat aluminum and press it through dies to create aluminum profiles. These products are used in train construction, tent structures, event grandstands, and the bicycle industry.

• Salary: From €3,372 to €3,973 gross per month, including a 16% shift allowance (Metalektro collective labor agreement).
• Stability: Full-time (40 hours) with the prospect of a permanent contract at Nedal.
• Travel allowance: Starting from 5 km.
• Vacation: 25 vacation days.
• Development: Training and growth opportunities to become an Allround Press Operator or Shift Leader. Think of forklift and VCA certification.
