Job Description

• Setting up the saw to cut profiles to size.
• Checking profiles for straightness, dimensions, and damage.
• Operating machines to stretch the profiles.
• Installing molds and collaborating with the press driver.

The operator role starts in a two-shift system from 06:30 to 15:00 and 14:30 to 23:30. Then you transition to a three-shift system from 07:00 to 15:00, from 15:00 to 23:00, and from 23:00 to 07:00. If you travel by public transport, we can discuss your start times.
You work in a production environment where it can be a bit loud due to the machines. You also have no problems working in a factory, where the climate can vary.

Job Requirements

• You speak Dutch or English.
• You have technical training or experience as an operator.
• A forklift or reach truck certificate, Safe Lifting and VCA certificate are a plus, not a must. You are willing to obtain them.

Salary and Benefits
At Nedal Aluminium in Utrecht, you work as an operator in the extrusion department. There, we heat aluminum and push it through a die. This creates different shapes, like tubes, profiles, and plates. Many different companies use these for train construction, tent building, event stands, bicycle industry, and much more. When you start as an operator at Nedal, you earn the following:

• Salary from €3,290 gross per month, including a 16% shift allowance (Metalektro collective agreement).
• Salary is negotiable and depends on age and experience.
• 4 A full-time position (40 hours per week) with a prospect of a permanent contract.
• Travel allowance from 5 km. 25 vacation days
