For one of our clients in Best, we are looking for a Warehouse Administrative Assistant. The head office of our client is located in Shanghai, and for the location in Best they are looking for a new colleague. In this role, you are responsible for the entire logistics process together with two other colleagues. You will be trained as a true all-rounder, so that you will eventually be able to independently handle everything from A to Z. Below you can read what your tasks and responsibilities will be.

  • Checking incoming goods and registering them in the system
    These incoming goods are products shipped by the head office in Shanghai. From the warehouse in Best, the products are shipped to customers.
  • Order picking using a scanner
    You do this accurately to ensure that the order is complete and ready for shipment.
  • Folding boxes, labeling, and packing orders
  • Processing returns
  • Scanning and sending invoices to customers
  • Naturally, you ensure that the warehouse remains neat and tidy during your work.

Our client is a small company, which means you will be involved in all activities in the warehouse, making your workday very varied. Compared to last year, the company has grown significantly due to the launch of a new product. For this reason, they are looking for a new colleague to expand the team.

You will work partly in the warehouse (approximately 50% of your working week). The remaining 50% of your time will be spent in the office handling the administrative side of your work. These activities are spread throughout the day, so you will never sit behind your screen for hours at a time. You will work day shifts from Monday to Friday between 08:00 / 08:30 and 16:30 / 17:00. This is a fulltime position for 40 hours per week, with parttime 32 hours per week being negotiable.

What does our client expect from you?

  • You have a fluent command of the Dutch and/or English language, both spoken and written. The working language within the company is currently Dutch.
  • You work accurately, neatly, and in an organized manner.
  • Experience in a similar role is definitely a plus.
  • You are available for the long term, as this is a permanent position.

What can you expect from our client?

  • A full-time position of 32 to 40 hours per week, with a preference for 40 hours. 
  • A salary between €2,700 and €3,000 gross per month based on a 40-hour workweek.
  • Initially, you will work via Olympia, but with good performance you will be offered a contract directly with our client.
  • A role in which you will be involved in all aspects of the work, resulting in a lot of variety during your workday.
  • 25 vacation days.
  • 8% holiday allowance.
  • An annual bonus based on performance.
  • Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer for one-way travel starting from 10 km.
