Laser Operator

You will be working for a metalworking company that has been in business for over 25 years. Starting out in a small workshop, it has grown into a production facility of 20,000 m². Today, the company employs over 60 people. Specializing in heavy metalwork, they use techniques such as laser cutting, plasma cutting, oxy-fuel cutting, shearing, bending, manual welding, robotic welding, longitudinal welding, machining, and component assembly. They are a supplier to fellow metal companies, the automotive industry, and concrete formwork construction. Their products can be found in loading and unloading systems, trailers, concrete and foundation molds, and countless other applications. The company continuously invests in equipment, and Dulasta's machinery is highly automated.

Job Description
As a laser operator in Staphorst, you will be working with various laser and plasma cutting machines within a large production facility. Your day starts with clear instructions, after which you use technical drawings to cut metal sheets precisely. You'll use a crane to place metal sheets in the machine, set it up, and check the finished products. After cutting, you'll place the processed sheets onto a pallet, ready for the next step. Over time, you'll gain more responsibilities and get to work with even more machinery.

• Cutting metal sheets based on technical drawings;
• Setting up and operating laser and/or plasma cutting machines;
• Inspecting cut plates for accuracy;

Job Requirements

• An MBO-level diploma in metal technology or similar;
• 1 to 2 years of experience as an operator or metalworker;
• Knowledge of CNC machines;
• Available to work in two shifts (between 6:00 AM and 1:00 AM, until 7:00 PM on Fridays);
• Living in the area of Staphorst, Meppel, Zwolle, Emmeloord, or Wolvega.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary between €2,500 and €2,900 gross per month;
• Travel allowance;
