Engine Design Engineer – Heavy-Duty Engines

- Engine design: You will work on the design and optimization of heavy-duty engines, focusing on performance, durability, and emissions standards
- Technical specifications: Define and validate technical specifications for engine components
- Prototyping and testing: Collaborate with testing teams to ensure designs meet required specifications through prototypes and testing cycles
- Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers, departments, and suppliers to ensure integration of design concepts
- Continuous improvement: Stay updated with the latest developments in engine technologies and implement improvements in existing designs
- Documentation and reporting: Prepare detailed technical documentation and reports to present to stakeholders
- Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or a related field
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in engine design, specifically focused on heavy-duty engines
- Technical expertise: Strong understanding of thermodynamics, mechanical systems, and engine development processes
- Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Creo, CATIA), and experience with simulation tools is a plus
- Language proficiency: Good command of English (spoken and written)
- Team player: Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment, while also working independently when necessary
- Problem-solving mindset: Analytical thinking and the ability to solve complex engineering problems
- Salary range: €4,000 - €7,000 gross per month, depending on experience
- Permanent position: No temporary projects, but a full-time role
