Manpower is looking for a Service Technician for a company in Venlo.

You are the first line of technical response on site, working closely with one colleague to maintain and troubleshoot automated warehouse and conveyor systems. Your role involves both preventive maintenance and solving complex breakdowns with a mix of mechanical and electrical work. Your main tasks include:

  • Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on advanced automated installations, including storage and picking systems
  • Troubleshooting faults across mechanical, electrical, control logic, peripheral equipment, and operational issues
  • Diagnosing root causes of non-standard failures instead of repeating known fixes
  • Interpreting signals from sensors, drives, motors, and safety circuits to identify issues
  • Collaborating with remote support teams for deeper PLC or software interventions
  • Handling third-party equipment like packaging machines and printers when immediate resolution is required
  • Logging failures, maintenance actions, and production data in internal systems
  • Spotting recurring issues and suggesting practical improvements
  • Supporting a smooth and constructive on-site team environment

  • At least  a mbo level education in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Proven experience in maintenance or service within an industrial or automated environment
  • Comfortable working in a highly automated, PLC-controlled environment
  • Ability to troubleshoot across mechanical and electrical domains with structured fault-finding logic
  • Availability for two-shift work
  • Basic computer skills for reporting and administration (Office and Excel)
