Required Work Experience and Responsibilities: As a self-employed chef, you are responsible for the full operational management of the kitchen. Your work experience covers the following core areas: Preparation and Quality Control: You oversee the preparation of dishes and carry it out independently. You assess the quality of ingredients and prepare the necessary tools. You perform mise en place, such as washing, cutting, and mixing. During the cooking process, you monitor quality based on doneness, taste, color, and texture. You supervise assistants in preparing orders and ensure that all work is carried out strictly in accordance with HACCP, occupational health and safety regulations. Inventory and Management: You have experience planning daily activities and ordering food and supplies on time. Upon receipt, you check the quality and quantity of items and ensure proper storage. You actively monitor the shelf life and hygiene of all inventory and are responsible for the daily cleaning of the work environment. Optimization and Innovation: You are accountable for the consumption of ingredients and semi-finished products. You'll also actively contribute to culinary creativity by providing input on the menu and work instructions. You're skilled in developing or adapting recipes and creating clear recipe instructions for the team.
