ABOUT THE ORGANISATION
Our end client’s Biobank supports researchers in optimally managing biomedical samples intended for scientific research and acts as an accessible knowledge centre for all aspects of biobanking. The Biobank’s ultimate goal is to enable research with societal impact while protecting the rights and wishes of all stakeholders (donors, researchers and patients). It is fully integrated into the wider hospital and university research landscape.
ASSIGNMENT CONTEXT
The selected consultant will work on‑site within the Biobank team at our end client, while being contracted and supported by ITProposal B.V.
THE ROLE
Support the implementation of a new inventory software solution within the Biobank, with the objective of inventorying samples and ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and regulations.
Learn and understand the selected software package, both functionally and technically.
Convince internal stakeholders of the added value of this software and actively engage and motivate them to adopt it.
Attend weekly meetings with the software vendor and follow up on open items and action points.
Work in a proactive, flexible, dynamic and helpful manner as part of the project and Biobank teams.
PRACTICAL NOTE
Interviews for this assignment are scheduled by the end client in fixed time slots and details will be communicated during the selection process.
