Our end client is a major public transport operator in the Walloon region and a key player in mobility and in the economic, social and sustainable development of the area. With several thousand employees and a wide range of roles, the organisation is committed to a common goal: continuously improving the performance, user-friendliness and sustainability of its public transport services.

Mission
Within the wider ERP transformation programme (migration towards SAP S/4HANA), the Asset Management project aims to optimise the way assets are managed across the organisation. The Project Manager Asset Management will play a central role in this programme and will be responsible for:

  • Contributing to and helping define the scope, planning and budget of the projects under their responsibility.

  • Leading and coordinating the preliminary analyses required before execution.

  • Organising and facilitating project meetings, including steering committees.

  • Tracking project activities and deliverables, and ensuring follow-up.

  • Managing internal and external project communication with all relevant stakeholders.

  • Organising and coordinating change management for the project.

  • Communicating with the ERP/“Odyssey” programme teams, business stakeholders and any external providers.

Assignment context
The Project Manager Asset Management will work primarily on-site at our end client as part of their programme and business teams, while being contracted and supported by ITProposal B.V.

Profile

Experience and expertise

  • At least 8 years of experience in project management in a SAP-oriented and/or Asset Management context.

  • Proven expertise in:

    • Digital transformation.

    • IT and business strategy.

    • End-to-end project management (scope, planning, budget, stakeholders).

  • Demonstrated ability to manage a project fully autonomously.

Role and way of working

  • You naturally adopt a support and advisory role to help the business structure its ideas, define its needs and document them clearly.

  • You are able to propose a project strategy, defining its scope, planning, sourcing approach and budget.

  • You have excellent command of French, both spoken and written.

Important information

  • The assignment will be carried out mainly on-site in Namur. The consultant must be flexible and willing to travel to different Business Units across Wallonia to meet local stakeholders (travel costs are included in the proposed rate).​

  • Consulting days are based on 8 hours. Two fixed teleworking days per week are possible.

  • The working day must start between 07:30 and 09:00; the lunch break must be taken between 11:45 and 14:00; the end of the working day must be between 16:00 and 19:00. Presence windows from 09:00–11:45 and 14:00–16:00 must be respected.
